Don Det is the liveliest of the 4000 islands, where backpackers tend to flock. If you’re looking for a few days of fun then this is the place for you. There are a few nicer places to stay if you do choose Don Det, but for those wanting to enjoy the quiet of the islands Don Khone is the place to choose. Located over the old-railway bridge Don Khone is just over the border from Cambodia and hosts Liphi falls which can be visited by foot or by bike from your bungalow
