Cycling Xe Pian & Wat Phou Tour

A two day cycling tour to the Xe Pian National Protected Area, camp at Phu Asa temple overlooking the wetlands below, the next cycle to Wat Phu before transferring by boat back to Pakse.

Day 1: Pakse – Xepian – Phu Asa
Departing Pakse for an early start at 7am, check our bikes fit and saddle up. Start riding out of Pakse along route 13. It is a 56 Km cycle to Ban Kiat Ngong along the way we will stop at Wat Umong Temple set in the jungle. On arrival in Kiat Ngong havelunch before setting off on the final 4km of the journey uphill to Phu Asa which can be done on foot or by bicycle. Ride 56 km

Accommodation: Kingfisher Eco Lodge (Comfort Bungalow)

Day 2: Xepian – Champasak – Wat Phou – Pakse
After breakfast cycle back down hill to the intersection and then continue to Wat Phu crossing the river at Ban Muang. Today’s cycle is 68km in total. After visiting the pre-Angkor temple of Wat Phu have lunch in Champasak and continue our bike return to Pakse. Ride 68 km
